Penwith District Council in its final hours has given the go ahead for plans to transform Hayle’s historic harbour.

Over 1000 houses have been included in this £220 million scheme which will have a huge impact on the economy of the local area.  Providing jobs and encouraging the return of talented youngsters this development will continue to fuel the re-energisation of the town.

This proposal has not been without controversy with complaints that the increased traffic will cause grid lock in the area, and the plans have been criticized for not always following sustainable development guidelines in respect to construction on farmland in the area.

At Percy Williams homes we are excited about the changes and think this will offer a lot of benefits for residents at our eco homes located a short walk away.
